Softball Recap: Twin Falls Picks Up Third Consecutive Victory

While Twin Falls's win against Jerome wasn't quite the blowout it was the last time the pair played, they still came out on top. The Bruins narrowly escaped with a victory as the squad sidled past the Tigers 11-10. The win was nothing new for the Bruins as they're now sitting on three straight.

Braylin Iverson was a standout: she went 4-for-5 with one home run, three runs, and two RBI. The team also got some help courtesy of Libby Torgrimson, who went 2-for-5 with one home run and four RBI.

They weren't the only ones making solid contact: Twin Falls kept the outfield on their toes and finished the game with 12 hits. They are 7-3 when they post 11 or more hits.

Twin Falls' victory bumped their record up to 10-11. As for Jerome, their defeat was their fifth straight on the road, which dropped their record down to 7-12.

We've got plenty of inter-conference action coming up soon. Twin Falls is set to take on their familiar foe Minico at 3:00 p.m. on Monday. Meanwhile, Jerome will face off against rival Mountain Home at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday.
