Basketball Game Preview: Cabrini Monarchs vs. Detroit Cristo Rey WOLVES

Cabrini hasn't had much luck against Detroit Cristo Rey recently, but that could start to change on Tuesday. The Cabrini Monarchs will head out to square off against the Detroit Cristo Rey WOLVES at 7:00 p.m. Cabrini will be strutting in after a win while Detroit Cristo Rey will be coming in after a loss.

While Cabrini didn't have the best season last year (they finished 6-16), it's starting to look like those struggles are a thing of the past. They came out on top against Austin Catholic by a score of 60-47 on Friday.

Meanwhile, Detroit Cristo Rey was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their sixth straight defeat dating back to last season. They were beaten by Our Lady of the Lakes 51-7.

Cabrini's victory bumped their record up to 4-1. As for Detroit Cristo Rey, their loss dropped their record down to 0-4.

Cabrini lost to Detroit Cristo Rey on the road by a decisive 64-48 margin in their previous meeting back in January. Can Cabrini avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
