The Person Rockets will face off against the Eastern Alamance Eagles at 6:00 p.m. on Monday. The last four games Person has played have been within two runs, so don't be surprised if it's a close one.

On Wednesday, Person sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with a 5-3 win over Franklinton.

Jackson Riggan was incredible, going a perfect 3-for-3 with two stolen bases, two doubles, and one run. That's the most hits he has posted since back in February. Another player making a difference was Brady Holmes, who went 1-for-3 with two runs, one triple, and one stolen base.

Eastern Alamance couldn't beat Corinth Holders on Wednesday even though they stacked six runs on them in the third inning. The Eagles fell just short of the Pirates by a score of 7-6.

Rett Page and Kasen Mcginnis did some serious damage despite the final result: Page got on base in three of his four plate appearances with one run and one double, while Mcginnis got on base in three of his four plate appearances with one double and one RBI.

Eastern Alamance's defeat dropped their record down to 13-6. As for Person, their victory bumped their record up to 13-5.

The batters for both teams will have to hit smart on Monday as both have some strikeout artists on the roster. Person has been retiring batters left and right this season, having averaged 7.5 strikeouts per game. However, it's not like Eastern Alamance struggles in that department as they've been averaging 8.3 strikeouts. Considering how easily both teams rack up Ks, the hitters on both teams better bring their A-game into this one.
