Baseball Recap: Ben Davis Victorious

After losing to Lawrence Central the last time they met, Ben Davis decided to demonstrate that turnabout is fair play. The Giants walked away with a 5-1 victory over the Bears on Wednesday.

Ben Davis gave Ajani Anderson the start and clearly made the right call: he pitched five innings while giving up just one earned run off four hits.

On the hitting side, the team relied heavily on DJ Mitchell, who went 2-for-3 with one stolen base, one run, and one RBI. The team also got some help courtesy of Derek Douglas, who went 1-for-3 with two RBI and one double.
