Volleyball Recap: Rocky River Takes a Loss + How To Watch

Rocky River was not able to break out of their rough patch on Wednesday as the team picked up their fourth straight defeat dating back to last season. They lost 3-0 to the Jackson Day Mariners. The Ravens were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Mariners apparently hadn't forgotten their loss the last time these teams played back in August of 2024.

The match finished with set scores of 25-8, 25-21, 25-21.

Rocky River's defeat dropped their record down to 0-3. As for Jackson Day, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 6-2.

Rocky River wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next match, a 1-0 loss against Providence on the 28th. Jackson Day has also already played their next game (against Carolina International), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing.
