League recap: Palatka climbs in state rankings

Palatka scaled the state rankings by moving to 151 from 236 this week, the biggest jump in 5A District 4. The Panthers climbed the ranks as a result of defeating Creekside 40-0.

Menendez took down Interlachen 72-9 last week, the largest margin of any game. Trevon Bryant ran for 219 yards during the win.

Ponte Vedra's dynamic duo of Colin Feller and Sam Feidler proved tough for Providence to stop, as they were the top passer and receiver in the league this week. Feller threw for 152 yards and Feidler had 54 yards receiving. Kurtis Willingham helped Ponte Vedra's passing attack out by catching 4 balls for 35 yards.

The Sharks' dynamic duo of Feller and Feidler proved to be unstoppable against the Stallions, as they were the top passer and receiver in the league this week.

Bryant was the best running back in the league this week. Stefan Carter also contributed to the rushing game with 76 yards on the ground.

Feidler was the best wideout in the league this week as Ponte Vedra fell to Providence.

Feller put up the best numbers through the air as Mike Lloyd's team fell to Bobby Raulerson's team.

Bryant provided a threat through the air and on the ground as the Falcons bested the Rams.

Bryant was a force in the backfield as Menendez beat Interlachen.

The Sharks' Feller and Feidler have formed a dream team this season, leading 5A District 4 in both passing and receiving yards. 6-3 quarterback Feller has thrown for 364 yards this season, while Feidler has 9 catches for 147 yards. Bryant from Patrick Turner's team leads the league in rushing with 462 yards.

An important game coming up in the league this week will be when Clay takes on Ponte Vedra. The Blue Devils are currently in fifth, while the Sharks are in first.

Palatka made the biggest jump in the national rankings this week, rising to 2,651 from 4,179. The improvement was the result of 40-0 victory over the Knights last week.
