Baseball Game Preview: East Eagles vs. Gilman Greyhounds

The East Eagles will head out on the road to square off against the Gilman Greyhounds at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday. East will be looking to extend their current eight-game winning streak.

East proved they can win big on Monday (they won by ten) and on Thursday they proved they can win the close ones too. They sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with an 11-10 win over Sandy Spring Friends. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest victory the Eagles have posted since May 13, 2025.

The home team had won the previous two meetings between Gilman and Loyola Blakefield, and Loyola Blakefield kept the tradition alive. The Greyhounds fell 9-5 to the Dons on Friday.

East's win bumped their record up to 11-1. As for Gilman, their defeat was their seventh straight on the road, which dropped their record down to 11-17.
