Basketball Game Preview: Georgetown Eagles vs. Hendrickson Hawks

It'll be Battle of the Birds when the Georgetown Eagles face off against the Hendrickson Hawks at 4:00 p.m. on Friday... Georgetown will be strutting in after a victory while Hendrickson will be coming in after a loss.

Georgetown picked up another tournament win on Saturday. They walked away with a 58-51 win over Lubbock Christian.

Meanwhile, Hendrickson was within striking distance but couldn't close the gap on Friday as they fell 67-62 to Cedar Creek.

Georgetown has been performing well recently as they've won four of their last five contests, which provided a nice bump to their 11-7 record this season. As for Hendrickson, their defeat was their third straight on the road, which dropped their record down to 4-13.

Georgetown was able to grind out a solid victory over Hendrickson when the teams last played back in February, winning 58-51. The rematch might be a little tougher for Georgetown since the squad won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
