Football Game Recap: Estill County vs. Morgan County

The last time they met, Morgan County were the 34-8 winner over Estill County. This time around? They had no such luck. Morgan County lost to Estill County by a decisive 30-45 margin. It was a tough break for Morgan County, who improved upon an already decent score from the game before but lost both times.

Freshman Ty Niece, who punched in 3 rushing TDs and threw 1 TD, was a major factor in Estill County's success. They also got a significant boost from junior Chris Rigdon, who ran away from the competition to the tune of 101 yards.

The loss dropped Morgan County's record to 1-4. The win bumped Estill County's record up to 2-3.

Next week Morgan County take on Magoffin County at 7:30 PM. Given that they both suffered a loss in their last game, they both have a little extra motivation heading into this weekend. Estill County will stay at home against Breathitt County at 7:30 PM. Both teams seek to continue their momentum from their previous wins.
