Northridge took a ten-run loss the last time they faced off against Box Elder, but this time they managed to keep it close and that made all the difference. The Knights had just enough and edged out the Bees 7-6 on Friday. For the Knights, this counts as revenge for the 10-0 victory the Bees walked away with the last time they faced one another back in April of 2024.

Parker Jeppson was excellent, going 1-for-3 with one home run. The team also got some help courtesy of Mick Whitaker, who went 2-for-3 with two runs and one stolen base.

Northridge has been performing well recently as they've won three of their last four contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 13-7 record this season. They've had to fight for that success though, as they only beat their opponents by an average of 1.33 runs across that stretch. As for Box Elder, their defeat was their sixth straight on the road, which dropped their record down to 4-14.
