Basketball Recap: Adi Miell Key Part of Team Effort in Wolverines Win

After losing to Holly the last time they met, Cheraw decided to demonstrate that turnabout is fair play. The Cheraw Wolverines sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with a 36-33 win over the Holly Wildcats on Thursday.

Cheraw's victory was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Adi Miell, who posted 11 points and three steals. Miell has been hot for a while, having posted two or more steals the last 13 times she's played. Kieran Harris was another key player, putting up five points and nine boards.

Cheraw's record now sits at 11-6. As for Holly, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 6-13.
