Baseball Recap: Shikellamy Takes a Tough Playoff Loss

It's hard to turn regular season success into postseason wins, a fact Shikellamy can now relate to. They lost 9-2 to the Hollidaysburg Golden Tigers on Tuesday. Having soared to a lofty 11 runs in the game before, the Braves couldn't push the score so high this time.

Shikellamy saw five different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Chayse Snyder, who went a perfect 3-for-3 with one run and one double.

Shikellamy's defeat ended a three-game streak of away wins and brought them to 7-13. As for Hollidaysburg, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 15-5.

Coming up, Shikellamy will be playing at home against Shamokin Area at 4:30 p.m. on Wednesday. Hollidaysburg does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
