Basketball Recap: Madison-Grant Takes a Loss

On Tuesday, the Madison-Grant Argylls came up short against the Shenandoah Raiders and fell 63-51.

Shenandoah's victory was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Cannon Case, who went 8-for-9 on his way to 16 points and six rebounds. The dominant performance also gave Case a new career-high in assists (four). Jarrett Helman was another key player, going 6-for-8 en route to 14 points and three steals.

Madison-Grant's loss dropped their record down to 6-10. As for Shenandoah, their win bumped their record up to 11-6.

Madison-Grant has already played their next game, a 70-65 victory against Alexandria-Monroe on the 14th. As for Shenandoah, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 62-37 defeat against Lapel on the 14th.
