West Albany is 7-1 against Central since April of 2019 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Monday. The Bulldogs will challenge the Panthers at 5:00 p.m. Each of these teams will be fighting to keep a win streak alive as West Albany comes in on nine and Central on three.

Fans were treated to a battle of the Bulldogs on Friday. Everything went West Albany's way against Woodburn as they made off with a 19-5 victory. West Albany might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won eight games by six runs or more this season.

Central came out on top against McKay on Friday thanks in part to the team's impressive 13-run first inning. The Panthers were the clear victors by a 20-3 margin over the Royal Scots. The Panthers are also no stranger to big wins: their blowout was the sixth match they've won by 6+ runs this season.

West Albany's win was their fourth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 10-7. Those home victories came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 2.5 runs on average over those games. As for Central, their win bumped their record up to 11-8.

West Albany came out on top in a nail-biter against Central in their previous matchup back in April of 2024, sneaking past 3-2. Will the Bulldogs repeat their success, or do the Panthers have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
