Baseball Game Preview: Weyauwega-Fremont Warhawks vs. Shiocton Chiefs

The Weyauwega-Fremont Warhawks will head out on the road to challenge the Shiocton Chiefs at 4:30 p.m. on Monday. Weyauwega-Fremont is coming into the contest on a three-game losing streak.

On Saturday, Weyauwega-Fremont came up short against Winneconne and fell 7-3.

Shiocton came out on top against Mishicot on Thursday thanks in part to the team's impressive five-run sixth inning. The Chiefs were the clear victors by an 8-2 margin over the Indians. The game marked the Chiefs' most dominant victory of the season so far.

Shiocton's win ended a three-game drought on the road and puts them at 3-3. As for Weyauwega-Fremont, their defeat dropped their record down to 1-4.

Weyauwega-Fremont might still be hurting after the 15-3 loss they got from Shiocton in their previous meeting back in May of 2024. Can the Warhawks avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
