Volleyball Game Preview: Bandys Trojans vs. West Stanly Colts + Official Tickets

The Bandys Trojans will head out to square off against the West Stanly Colts at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. The two teams are sauntering into the matchup backed by comfortable wins in their prior games.

Bandys is on a roll after a high-stakes playoff matchup on Saturday. Everything went their way against West Stokes as they made off with a 3-0 victory.

While Bandys might've won, it sure wasn't easy: West Stokes scored at least 20 points in every set they played. The final score came out to 25-20, 25-23, 25-23.

Reagan Saunders and Ariana Kearney were among the main playmakers for Bandys as the former had nine digs and three aces and the latter had 15 digs and three aces. What's more, Saunders racked up 17 assists, the most she's had since back in August.

They weren't the only good servers: Bandys was lethal from the service line and finished the match with 12 aces. They are 8-3 when they serve at least ten aces.

Meanwhile, West Stanly came tearing into Wednesday's matchup with eight straight wins , and they left with even more momentum. They put the hurt on the Bearcats with a sharp 3-0 win.

While West Stanly won a shutout, things came down to the wire in the third set they played. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-18, 25-14, 25-22.

The victory got Bandys back to even at 11-11. As for West Stanly, their record is now 21-3.

Bandys suffered a grim 3-0 defeat to West Stanly in their previous meeting back in October of 2019. Can the Trojans avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
