Soccer Recap: Ripon Comes Up Short

Friday just wasn't the day for Ripon's offense. They fell 2-0 to the Escalon Cougars on Friday. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Indians this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 2-1 back in January.

Ripon now has a losing record at 10-11-4. As for Escalon, their victory bumped their record up to 3-11-6.

Looking ahead, Ripon will be playing in front of their home fans against Hilmar at 4:30 p.m. on Monday. As for Escalon, they are taking a road trip to challenge Orestimba at 5:15 p.m. on Monday.
