Volleyball Recap: Boone Grove Picks Up 15th Consecutive Win

With a playoff win on the line, Boone Grove rose to the challenge on Saturday. They walked away with a 3-1 win over the Andrean Fighting 59ers. The Wolves are really starting to get used to good results now that the team has won 15 straight.

Leading Boone Grove to victory were Ryder McCoy and Max Pollnow. McCoy had 23 digs and two aces, while Pollnow had 21 assists and eight digs. That's the most aces McCoy has posted over his last six games.

Despite the loss, Andrean still got an impressive performance from Mitchell Cadwallader, who had 36 digs and five assists. With that strong performance, Cadwallader is now averaging an impressive 10.1 digs per game.

Boone Grove's victory bumped their record up to 24-3. As for Andrean, with the defeat, they broke their 13-game winning streak and moved their record to 27-5.

After both having extra time off, Boone Grove and Lake Central will shake off the cobwebs and hit the court against one another at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday. The Indians will roll in looking for their ninth straight win, something the Wolves surely won't give up without a fight. Andrean does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
