Basketball Recap: Greenport Comes Up Short

Greenport was the 61-49 winner over Bridgehampton when they last played one another back in February, but their luck changed this time around. The Greenport Porters fell to the Bridgehampton Killer Bees 54-50.

Bridgehampton's win on Wednesday was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Alex Davis, who posted 15 points. The team also got some help courtesy of Jordan Harding, who scored 14 points.

The victory made it two in a row for Bridgehampton and bumps their season record up to 6-1.

Coincidentally, Greenport and Bridgehampton will both be playing Shelter Island the next time they take the court. Bridgehampton will host Shelter Island at 6:00 p.m. on Friday, while Greenport will head out to face them at 5:45 p.m. on January 9, 2025.
