KIPP Academy Lynn Collegiate is headed into Tuesday's match looking for a big change in momentum after dropping their fourth straight game on Monday. They came up short against Pioneer Charter School of Science, falling 3-0.

While KIPP Academy Lynn Collegiate had to settle for second, they sure made a game of it, scoring at least 18 points in every set they played. The final score came out to 25-18, 25-21, 25-18.

Meanwhile, Greater Lowell Tech had already won five in a row and they went ahead and made it six on Thursday. They put the hurt on the Tigers with a sharp 3-0 victory.

Greater Lowell Tech never let Lynn Vo-Tech on the board, but things got pretty close in the third set. The match finished with set scores of 25-13, 25-18, 29-27.

KIPP Academy Lynn Collegiate's defeat dropped their record down to 3-8. As for Greater Lowell Tech, their win was their seventh straight at home, which pushed their record up to 12-3.

KIPP Academy Lynn Collegiate couldn't quite get it done against Greater Lowell Tech in their previous meeting back in May of 2024 as they fell 3-1. Can the Panthers avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
