Football Recap: Glenbrook South Piles Up the Points Against Taft

Glenbrook South got themselves on the board against Taft on Friday, but Taft never followed suit. They claimed a resounding 47-0 victory over the Eagles. Given the Titans' advantage in MaxPreps' Illinois football rankings (they are ranked 12th, while the Eagles are ranked 160th) , the win wasn't entirely unexpected.

Glenbrook South has started the season off flawlessly and has a 2-0 record to show for it. Those wins came thanks in part to their defensive effort, having only surrendered a grand total of 28 points this season. As for Taft, their loss dropped their record down to 1-1.

Coming up, Glenbrook South will square off against Barrington at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. As for Taft, they will face off against Payton College Prep at 4:15 p.m. on Friday.
