Softball Recap: Kenosha Tremper Trojans vs. St. Joseph Lancers
After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Kenosha Bradford, Kenosha Tremper was happy to have turned things around on Saturday. They came out on top against the St. Joseph Lancers by a score of 10-0 (the very same score they lost by in their prior game). The high-scoring effort was just what the Trojans needed considering they were shut out in their previous matchup.
Sophia Murphy made a big impact no matter where she played. She didn't allow a single earned run and allowed only one hit while striking out seven over 4.1 innings pitched. That hit was her first of the season. She was also solid in the batter's box, scoring two runs and stealing two bases while going 2-for-3.
In other batting news, Mallory Meier was incredible, scoring a run and stealing two bases while going 1-for-2. Another player making a difference was Finley Koziol, who went 2-for-3 with two runs and one triple.
