Baseball Recap: Millis Takes a Loss

Westwood hit Millis with a seven-run third inning on Tuesday, which goes a long way in explaining the final result. The Mohawks lost 11-1 to the Wolverines. If the Mohawks were looking for revenge after losing 16-0 to the Wolverines when the teams met back in May of 2024, then they'll just have to keep looking.

Millis saw four different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Nick Hohman, who went 1-for-3 with one run.

Millis' loss was their third straight at home, which dropped their record down to 3-11. As for Westwood, the win was the sixth in a row for them, bringing their record up to 10-3.

Coming up, Millis is taking a road trip to square off against Bellingham at 4:00 p.m. on Wednesday. The Mohawks are facing the Blackhawks at the right time seeing as the Blackhawks are stuck on a ten-game losing streak. As for Westwood, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Hopkinton at 4:30 p.m. on Wednesday.
