Basketball Recap: Eastern Takes a Loss

Eastern was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their tenth straight defeat. They were beaten by the Waterford Wildcats 55-14. The Eagles were in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at 31-8.

Eastern's loss dropped their record down to 1-15. As for Waterford, the victory was the eighth in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 18-1.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Eastern will head out to face off against Nelsonville-York at 2:30 p.m. on Saturday. As for Waterford, they will venture away from home to square off against Belpre at 6:30 p.m. on February 6th.
