Softball Recap: Melba Takes a Loss

Melba managed to slip by Declo the last time these teams faced off, but didn't have those same answers this time around. The Mustangs came up short against the Hornets on Friday, falling 15-5. The Mustangs were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Hornets apparently hadn't forgotten their loss the last time these teams played back in May of 2019.

Melba saw four different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Kodi Adams, who went 1-for-2 with one run and one double.

This is the second loss in a row for Melba and nudges their season record down to 10-15. As for Declo, their win bumped their record up to 11-12.

Melba does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Declo, they didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next contest, a 10-4 defeat against Malad on the 16th.
