Football Recap: Gretna Dragons vs. Plattsmouth Blue Devils
After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Bennington, Gretna was happy to have turned things around on Friday. They came out on top against the Plattsmouth Blue Devils by a score of 35-28. The high-flying offensive performance was a huge turnaround for the Dragons considering their seven-point performance the matchup before.

Michael Knudsen had another great game (as he tends to do), throwing for 259 yards and three TDs while completing 82.4% of his passes, and also punching in one score on the ground. What's more, he racked up 137.9 passer rating, the most he's had since back in September of 2024. Bryce Lakers was Knudsen's top target, picking up 43 receiving yards and a pair of touchdowns.
Despite the loss, Plattsmouth still got an impressive performance from Bradin Vanwinkle, who threw for 174 yards and a pair of TDs, and also rushed for 30 yards. Levi Walker got in on the action too, converting a pick into a touchdown.
