Baseball Recap: Washington Wins Going Away Against Mcclain

After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Fairfield Union, Washington was happy to have turned things around on Monday. They never let the McClain Tigers get on the board and left with a 7-0 win. The match marked the Blue Lions' most dominant victory of the season so far.

The result came thanks to Will Miller's shutout, as he gave up just two hits and racked up 11 Ks.

On the hitting side, the team relied heavily on Aden Osborne, who went 2-for-4 with one home run and two runs. The team also got some help courtesy of Gavin Coffman, who went 1-for-4 with three RBI, one triple, and one run.

The win snapped Washington's losing streak at three games and leaves them with a 3-4 record. As for McClain, they are on a four-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 2-8.

Washington will have a chance to go back-to-back against the Tigers: the pair's next game is a rematch scheduled at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
