Baseball Recap: Southwest Eagles vs. Braddock Bulldogs
Braddock typically has all the answers at home, but on Tuesday Southwest proved too difficult a challenge. They walked away with a 6-3 victory over the Bulldogs. The win continues a trend for the Eagles in their matchups with the Bulldogs: they've now won three in a row.

Euclides Alvarez tossed a big game, striking out six batters over 6.2 innings while giving up just two earned runs off five hits. Those six strikeouts gave him a new career-high.
At the plate, Albert Bell was excellent, scoring a run while going 2-for-3. That's the most hits he has posted since back in February. The team also got some help courtesy of Max Rico, who went 1-for-3 with two RBI and one double.
Southwest's record now sits at 12-6. As for Braddock, their defeat dropped their record down to 15-5-1.
Looking ahead, Southwest will head out on the road to square off against Riverdale at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Braddock, they will look to defend their home field on Monday against Coral Shores at 3:30 p.m.
