Basketball Recap: Meadowdale's Win on Monday Extends Winning Streak to Three

While Meadowdale didn't have the best season last year (they finished 7-13), it's starting to look like those struggles are a thing of the past. They were the clear victor by a 72-46 margin over the Juanita Ravens on Monday. Given the Mavericks' advantage in MaxPreps' Washington basketball rankings (they are ranked 117th, while the Ravens are ranked 269th), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.

The victory was the third in a row for Meadowdale, bringing their record for this year to 6-3. Those victories came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 67.0 points per game. As for Juanita, their defeat was their 11th straight at home dating back to last season, which dropped their record down to 2-6.

Meadowdale will square off against Archbishop Murphy at 8:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Juanita, they will face off against Eastmont at 2:30 p.m. on Saturday.
