Softball Recap: Hilltop Cadets vs. North Central Eagles

In what's become a running theme this season, Hilltop gave their fans yet another huge victory on Monday. They blew past the North Central Eagles 11-1. The win was nothing new for Hilltop as they're now sitting on eight straight.

Giada Rising made a big impact no matter where she played. She didn't allow a single earned run and only one hit over five innings pitched. Rising was also big at the plate, scoring two runs while going 2-for-3.

In other batting news, Brooklyn Kuszmaul and Kelsy Connolly did most of the damage at the plate: Kuszmaul went 2-for-3 with a home run and two RBI, while Connolly went 2-for-4 with a home run and three RBI. Shealyn Brown was another key contributor, scoring two runs and stealing two bases while going 1-for-3.
