Rodriguez's tournament run continued when they took on Ygnacio Valley on Saturday. The Mustangs took down the Wolves 73-54. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Mustangs.

Mason Adimora was his usual excellent self, dropping a double-double with 26 points and 13 rebounds. The contest was his fifth in a row with at least 16 points. Another player making a difference was Jermaine 'Megatron' Missouri, who almost dropped a double-double with 16 points and nine boards.

Rodriguez's win bumped their record up to 4-1. As for Ygnacio Valley, their loss dropped their record down to 1-3.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Rodriguez will host McClymonds at 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday. As for Ygnacio Valley, they will challenge Granada at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. The Wolves will need to watch out since the Matadors have now posted at least 55 points every time they've taken the court this season.
