Soccer Game Preview: North Pocono vs. Scranton Prep

The North Pocono Trojans will challenge the Scranton Prep Cavaliers at 6:00 p.m. on Monday.

On Wednesday, North Pocono didn't have quite enough to beat Scranton and fell 2-1. The loss was a bit of a surprise, as North Pocono came into the matchup with a sizable advantage in MaxPreps' Pennsylvania soccer rankings (they are ranked 82nd, while Scranton are ranked 331st).

Meanwhile, Scranton Prep had to endure a five-match losing streak, but that streak is no more. They never let Valley View get on the board and left with a 2-0 victory on Wednesday.

Scranton Prep's win bumped their record up to 5-11. As for North Pocono, their defeat dropped their record down to 12-3-1.

North Pocono skirted past Scranton Prep 1-0 in their previous matchup back in September. Will the Trojans repeat their success, or do the Cavaliers have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
