It was a good run, but Chatham unfortunately witnessed the end of their three-game winning streak on Tuesday. They took a 2-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Nelson County Governors. Considering the last time Chatham couldn't score was back in April, the team can't take the result too hard.

Chatham's loss dropped their record down to 7-7-1. As for Nelson County, the win keeps they at an undefeated 15-0-2.

The two teams are set to take part in some playoff action in their next matches. Chatham will challenge Radford at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. Chatham's defense better be ready for this one: Radford have averaged an impressive 3.9 goals per game this season. As for Nelson County, they will look to defend their home pitch on Friday against Dan River at 5:30 p.m.
