Basketball Recap: Coon Rapids Takes a Loss

Coon Rapids was the 75-72 winner over Spring Lake Park when they last played one another back in January of 2024, but their luck changed this time around. The Coon Rapids Cardinals fell 66-55 to the Spring Lake Park Panthers on Tuesday. The Cardinals' defeat continues a trend for the squad, making it three in a row.

Coon Rapids' loss dropped their record down to 3-13. As for Spring Lake Park, with the win, they broke their three-game losing streak and moved their record to 5-13.

Coon Rapids didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next game, a 74-53 defeat against Andover on the 30th. Spring Lake Park has also already played their next contest, a 56-40 loss against Elk River on the 30th.
