Chelan came tearing into Saturday's contest with four straight wins (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 3.5 runs), and they left with even more momentum. Their pitchers stepped up to hand the Omak Pioneers a 10-0 shutout. The result was nothing new for the Mountain Goats, who have now won six matches by ten runs or more so far this season.

Chelan's win was their third straight at home, which pushed their record up to 10-7-1. Those home victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 9.0 runs over those games. As for Omak, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 3-13.

Coming up, Chelan will face off against Cascade at 3:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for Omak, they will be playing at home against Tonasket at 3:30 p.m. on Tuesday. The Pioneers are facing the Tigers at the right time seeing as the Tigers are stuck on a five-game losing streak.
