Football Recap: Grass Lake Comes Up Short + How To Watch

Grass Lake had lost four straight at home, but on Friday they dropped down to 1-6 to make it five. They took a blow against the Michigan Center Cardinals, falling 46-12. The Warriors lost against the Cardinals in their previous head to head back in October of 2024, too, but the margin this time around was even wider than the 33-28 score last time.

As for Michigan Center, the victory keeps them at an undefeated 6-0. The wins came thanks in part to their defensive effort, having only surrendered 12.6 points on average over those games.

Michigan Center's victory was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Hadyn Hinkle, who threw for 221 yards and five touchdowns, and also rushed for 86 yards and one score on only seven carries. Thanks to that big game, Hinkle is now up to 19 passing touchdowns on the season. Braylon Brown was another key player, gaining 106 total yards.

Grass Lake didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next contest, a 30-6 loss against Manchester on the 17th. As for Michigan Center, they also wasted no time getting back out on the field and have already played their next game, a 46-14 win against Napoleon on the 17th.
