Baseball Recap: Seneca East Takes a Loss

It was a proper cat-fight when Seneca East challenged Crestview on Saturday. The Tigers fell just short of the Cougars by a score of 6-5. The Tigers' loss continues a trend for the squad, making it three in a row.

Seneca East saw five different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Braydon Robinson, who went a perfect 3-for-3 with three RBI, two doubles, and one stolen base. Robinson has been hot recently, having posted at least one stolen base the last three times he's played. Deacon Lacy was another, going 2-for-3 with one run and one double.

Seneca East now has a losing record of 10-11. As for Crestview, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 9-12.

Seneca East has already played their next match (against Colonel Crawford), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing. As for Crestview, they will take on St. Paul at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
