While St. Marys's victory against Punxsutawney wasn't quite the blowout it was the last time the pair played, they still came out on top. The St. Marys Flying Dutch narrowly escaped with a win as the squad sidled past the Punxsutawney Chucks 6-5. The victory continues a trend for the Flying Dutch in their matchups with the Chucks: they've now won eight in a row.

Avery Eckels spent all seven innings on the mound, and it's clear why: she surrendered four earned (and one unearned) runs on ten hits and racked up eight Ks.
