Ladysmith waltzed into their matchup on Thursday with four straight wins... but they left with five. They snuck past the Barron Golden Bears with a 68-62 win. The Lumberjacks have seen this before: they got the W the last time they saw the Golden Bears, too.

Ladysmith's victory was their third straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 6-1. As for Barron, their defeat was their first in the conference, dropping their conference record down to 2-1 and their overall record down to 2-3.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Ladysmith will have some time to savor their win since their next game is a little ways off: they'll take on Chequamegon at 7:00 p.m. on December 30th. Barron also won't see the court for a while: their next game is against Amery at 7:00 p.m. on January 3, 2025.
