Softball Recap: Our Lady of Tepeyac Takes a Loss

Our Lady of Tepeyac extended their losing streak (dating back to last season) to eight on Wednesday, dropping their season record down to 0-4 in the process. They lost 12-0 to Holy Trinity. If Our Lady of Tepeyac was looking for revenge after losing 20-5 to Holy Trinity when the teams met back in May of 2024, then they'll just have to keep looking.

As for Holy Trinity, they now have a winning record of 3-2. That 12 run margin sets a new team best for them this season.

For Holy Trinity's part, Isabella Diaz was excellent, getting on base in three of her five plate appearances with three runs and one double. Another player making a difference was Nayanah Mahone, who went 1-for-3 with one run and one double.

Our Lady of Tepeyac didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next game, a 22-4 loss against Bulls College Prep on the 24th. As for Holy Trinity, they also wasted no time getting back out on the field and have already played their next contest, a 19-0 win against Christ the King on the 24th.
