Baseball Recap: Foster Continues Road Dominance on Friday

Foster posted their closest win since March 13th on Friday. They narrowly escaped with a victory as the squad sidled past the Strake Jesuit Fighting Crusaders 5-3. This was a revenge game for the Falcons: when they faced off against the Fighting Crusaders on Tuesday, they had to take a 6-5 loss.

Evan Arredondo looked comfortable as he tossed two innings while giving up no earned runs off three hits. He also tossed a walk, which is notable because Foster is 7-2 when he allows at most two walks, but 9-10-1 otherwise.

At the plate, the team relied heavily on Landry Heath, who went a perfect 2-for-2 with one run and one RBI. Another player making a difference was Aiden Poirier, who went 2-for-3 with one double and one RBI.

Foster's win was their sixth straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 16-12-1. The team dominated over that stretch too, winning by an average of 10.3 runs. As for Strake Jesuit, their defeat ended a five-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 16-11.

As of now, neither Foster nor the Fighting Crusaders have any future games scheduled.
