Basketball Recap: Faith Academy Comes Up Short

If Faith Academy was riding high fresh off their 48-28 takedown of Keystone two weeks ago, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. The Faith Academy Flames lost 58-33 to the Lutheran Mustangs on Tuesday. Sadly, that's the second time they've come up short against the Flames this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 71-49 back in January.

Hadley Shipley was Faith Academy's leading scorer, having posted eight points. Natalie Weems held things down on the boards with ten rebounds.

Faith Academy's defeat dropped their record down to 6-19. As for Lutheran, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 8-6.

Coincidentally, both will both be playing Live Oak Classical the next time they take the court. Faith Academy will host Live Oak Classical at 6:00 p.m. on Friday, while Lutheran will head out to face them at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
