Eastside Catholic won against Everett last Saturday with ten runs and they decided to stick to that run total again on Monday. Everything went Eastside Catholic's way against the Bishop Blanchet Bears as Eastside Catholic made off with a 10-1 win. For the Crusaders, this counts as revenge for the 1-0 victory the Bears walked away with the last time they faced one another back in April of 2024.

Tristan Weigum spent all seven innings on the mound, and it's clear why: he surrendered only one earned run on four hits.

At the plate, Micah Bartle and Hudson Schock did most of the damage at the plate: Bartle scored two runs and stole a base while getting on base in three of his four plate appearances, while Schock scored a run and stole a base while getting on base in three of his four plate appearances. Schock is crushing it when it comes to stolen bases: he's snagged at least one every time he's taken the field this season. Zack Sieger was another key player, scoring a run while going 1-for-3.

The win made it two in a row for Eastside Catholic and bumps their season record up to 3-1. The team dominated over those games too, winning by an average of 9.5 runs. As for Bishop Blanchet, their defeat ended a three-game streak of away wins and brought them to 3-2.

Eastside Catholic will have a chance to go back-to-back against Bishop Blanchet: the pair's next game is a rematch scheduled at 3:30 p.m. on Wednesday.
