Soccer Recap: Pueblo Victorious

Pueblo's game last Wednesday was a loss, but they didn't let that memory haunt them on Tuesday. Their defense stepped up to hand the Palo Verde Titans a 1-0 shutout. That's more bragging rights for the Warriors, who also won the pair's last head-to-head.

Pueblo's first victory this season bumped their record up to 1-4-1. As for Palo Verde, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 0-3.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Pueblo will venture away from home to take on Cholla at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Palo Verde, they will face off against Globe at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday.
