Football Recap: Stratford Starts off Right with Win over Cheney Tech + How To Watch

Stratford gave their fans exactly what they wanted out of a home opener on Friday. They took their game with ease, bagging a 30-0 victory over the Cheney Tech Chargers. The score at the end of the third wound up being the final score as the Red Devils just coasted through the last quarter.

Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Stratford to victory, but perhaps none more so than Jake Hill, who picked up 146 receiving yards and two TDs. Those 146 receiving yards gave Hill a new career-high. Danny Casiano Jr was in the mix too, providing Stratford with two scores.

Stratford didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next contest, a 27-14 win against Bethel on the 19th. As for Cheney Tech, they also wasted no time getting back out on the field and have already played their next match, a 21-13 defeat against Wilcox Tech/Kaynor RVT on the 19th.
