Basketball Recap: Cornell Takes a Loss

Cornell lost against Flambeau back in January and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Thursday. The Chiefs were outmatched by the Falcons and fell 78-45.

Dominic Kopacz continued his habit of posting crazy stat lines for Flambeau, shooting 45% from the field to rack up 22 points along with seven rebounds and five assists. Kopacz's big performance that evening made it six games in a row in which he has scored at least 15 points. Another player making a difference was Chanse Ludescher, who almost dropped a double-double with ten points and nine boards.

Cornell now has a losing record of 1-2. As for Flambeau, the win was the fifth in a row for them, bringing their record up to 5-1.

Cornell and Spring Valley will compete for holiday cheer at 7:15 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Flambeau, they will be home for the holidays to greet Birchwood at 7:15 p.m. on Tuesday.
