Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Bentonville West). They were the clear victors by a 7-2 margin over the Southside Mavericks on Tuesday. It was an even better day for Mikayla Sullivan as she scored three goals for her team.

Bentonville West has been performing well recently as they've won four of their last five contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 8-4-2 record this season. Those wins came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they scored 14 goals over those five matches. As for Southside, they are on a four-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 0-4.

We've got plenty of inter-conference action coming up soon. Bentonville West will square off against rival Rogers Heritage at 5:30 p.m. on Friday. Meanwhile, Southside is set to face off against their familiar foe Bentonville at 5:00 p.m. on Friday.
