Basketball Recap: St. Marys Comes Up Short

On Tuesday, the St. Marys Blue Devils ended up a good deal behind the DuBois Central Catholic Cardinals and lost 48-34. The game marked the Blue Devils' lowest-scoring matchup so far this season.

St. Marys' loss dropped their record down to 16-5. As for DuBois Central Catholic, the win (which was their fifth in a row) raised their record to 22-2.

St. Marys wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next contest, a 79-44 victory against Oak Glen on the 18th. As for DuBois Central Catholic, they will square off against Cameron County at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. DuBois Central Catholic is facing Cameron County at the right time seeing as Cameron County is stuck on a three-game losing streak.
