Volleyball Recap: Eagle Pass Takes a Loss

Eagle Pass was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their third straight defeat. They lost 3-0 to the Alexander Bulldogs. If the Eagles were looking for revenge after losing 3-0 to the Bulldogs when the teams met back in October of 2024, then they'll just have to keep looking.

While Eagle Pass was kept off the board, it wasn't for a lack of trying: they cut into Alexander's winning margin in every set. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-7, 25-8, 25-11.

Eagle Pass' loss dropped their record down to 2-20. As for Alexander, they pushed their record up to 21-4 with the win, which was their 12th straight at home dating back to last season.

We've got plenty of inter-district action coming up soon. Eagle Pass will face off against rival United at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Meanwhile, Alexander is set to take on their familiar foe Laredo LBJ at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
