Baseball Recap: Dennis-Yarmouth Regional Gets the Win

The Dennis-Yarmouth Regional Dolphins earned a 6-3 victory over the Seekonk Warriors on Wednesday. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Dolphins.

Gavin Desley was a major factor no matter where he played. He looked comfortable on the mound, tossing five innings while giving up just one earned run off four hits. Dennis-Yarmouth Regional is undefeated when Desley allows one or fewer earned runs, but 7-11 otherwise. Desley was also solid in the batter's box, going 2-for-4 with two doubles, one run, and one RBI. Those two doubles gave him a new career-high.

In other batting news, Jayden Eldredge was excellent, going 1-for-2 with two RBI and one run. Those two RBI gave him a new career-high. Griffin Endres was another key player, getting on base in two of his four plate appearances with two runs and one stolen base.

Dennis-Yarmouth Regional's win bumped their record up to 13-11. As for Seekonk, their defeat dropped their record down to 14-9.

As of now, neither Dennis-Yarmouth Regional nor the Warriors have any future games scheduled.
